Mass Island Corp is dedicated to nonprofit, artistic citizenship education.
Through strategically gaming in our Minecraft server, enjoying our music and arts, and engaging in our artistic and educational events and programs, our participants and audiences are inspired to become responsible and intellectual citizens. We encourage the public to embrace diverse aesthetics and culture, critically think and independently form opinions, pursue innovation and originality, become lifelong learners, exercise craftsmanship and avoid utilitarianism, and become active, caring collaborators of their communities and teams.
We currently target our products, services, events, and projects to global education practitioners, K12 and college students, and parents from all backgrounds.
We especially offer affordable and free events and projects, with the quality of arts being unchanged, to low-income and underserved communities.
On the one hand, we believe that people's life will be better with some arts and hope, which we deliver. On the other hand, we have to admit that some communities are systematically excluded from access to quality educational resources and arts. Yet the inspirations and joy brought by music and arts, the harmonious communications among diverse cultures, and more importantly, the awareness and courage to be citizens who fight for each other's and their own rights, are critically needed in every community on this planet. Nobody should be left behind.
As global citizens, we strive for fair and just communities, cities, states, and countries. We live in a world where democracy and civil rights are defectively protected or even absent. It has always been like that. We are exploring solutions and inspiring more people to join our adventure. Journey continues.
